  • TOM ENG <br/> Chairman of the Board


    Eng has 25 years of experience in the waste and recycling industry, and is currently SVP, Head of Tomra Recycling Sorting in the Tomra group. He has also worked as product and export manager for Noral AS, which, like Tomra, he has contributed to build up to become a world-leading company in its business area.

    Eng has a broad international experience from Europe, Asia and the Americas, and has extensive experience in interacting with and understanding different cultures. He holds a Master of Arts in European Business degree with a specialization in marketing from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.

  • HELGE KRØGENES <br/> CEO


    Co-founder and shareholder of Andfjord Salmon, a land-based salmon farmer based in Norway where he held positions as CFO and CCO. Helge holds a degree in economics from Norwegian School of Management and has worked with business development and entrepreneurship in Norway and the USA as Export Envoy for the Norwegian Export Council. 

  • CLEMENT KAUKUETU <br/> President Namibia Operations


    Founding member and Director at Gazania Investments 128 PTY (LTD). Founding member and Director of Avant-Garde Investments CC, both operational in the Namibian horse mackerel fishery.

    Owner of WCS Namibia Trading Enterprises, a construction company. Former Journalist and Manager for Property and Logistics at the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation.

  • TORBEN FOSS <br/> Executive Advisor


    Foss has served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Fisheries, and has been employed as Assistant Director of Fisheries and as Chief of Operations. From 2020, he has worked as a lawyer in PwC.

    Foss has extensive experience from working with challenges in the aquaculture industry and in the traditional fishing industry, both nationally and internationally.

  • SVEIN MUNKEJORD <br/> Executive Advisor


    Munkjejord was Minister of Fisheries in Norway 1989-1990. He has been a Civil servant in the Norwegian fisheries administration during most of his career. i.a. Regional head of the Fisheries Administration in South West Norway and Fisheries Counsellor to the Embassy in Brussels.

    He has been a long time advisor to the South African government on how to formulate an aquaculture policy and a legislation. He has also advised the World bank on how to convert fisheries resources off-shore to employment on shore in Mauritania.

  • IVAR SØVOLD <br/> Executive Advisor


    35 years of top management, advisory and investments with a particular focus on start-up/early phase challenges. The experience covers corporate management, management of strategy processes, technology management, business planning & development, market analysis, financing, project management, etc. Particularly good understanding of systems, networks, sensors and mechanics. International experience from Asia, Central & Western Europe, Russia, Africa.

    Five languages. Formal education in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics (MSc at NTNU, Norway) and Social Sciences/ languages (BA equiv. University of Oslo, NTNU, Université Aix-Provence 2).

  • BAREND PAUL STANDER <br/> Operating Officer


    More than 20 years’ experience in fisheries and aquaculture in the Southern Ocean. Covering multiple aquaculture species, including Atlantic salmon, Rainbow trout (both marine and fresh water), Coho salmon, Abalone, White Stumpnose, seaweed, mussel, oysters and Patagonian Toothfish. Been key to several pioneering aquaculture facilities, either closing the cycle on new species or taking existing aquaculture species to new locations in Southern Africa.

    Experienced in aquaculture health monitoring, environmental monitoring and permitting applications processes in South Africa.

  • ERIK ALEXANDER FOSS <br/> Board Member

    Erik Alexander Foss has more than eight years of experience within financial consultancy and is currently Head of Analysis at Howden Financial Advisory. Erik holds a MSc in Finance & Strategic management from Copenhagen Business School and has prior experience from EWOS (now part of Cargill Animal Nutrition) and Converto Capital.

  • LIMA MAARTENS <br/> Senior Advisor


    Maartens has more than 29 years experience in natural resource management, lecturing, environmental science, management and consulting. She has worked as Environmental Assessment Practitioner in sectors like exploration (including offshore oil and gas), mining and quarrying, renewable energy (solar and wind); tourism, manufacturing; agriculture, aqua- and marine culture and township, property and waterfront developments.

    LM Environmental Consulting is an independent consulting firm with no interest in the project which is the subject matter hereof other than to fulfil the contract between the client and the consultant for delivery of specialised services as stipulated in the terms of reference.

  • BJØRN MYRSETH, <br/> Special Advisor

    Bjørn Myrseth is a Norwegian biologist and businessman. He is the former President of the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), where he was also one of the founding members. Mr. Myrseth was educated in fishery biology at the University of Bergen, where he went on to become an Associate Professor. He was also a co-founder of Stolt Sea Farms.

  • JONNY NIKOLAISEN <br/> Special Advisor

    25 years’ experience in planning, design, supervision during construction, training, start-up and management of ongoing fish farms and sea constructor. Experience from broodstock, hatchery, nursery, cages, and processing. General Manager in 4 companies and international experience from Argentina, Croatia, Greece, Iran, Lesotho, Qatar, Russia, Seychelles, and South-Africa
